Take your mask, get set, vote!

Local residents will be heading to the polls to vote for a new Metro Mayor for the West of England on Thursday 6 May.

The result was extremely close last time the election was held back in 2017 when the Conservatives won with Labour just three per cent behind.

Despite it being an important role with a multi million budget, in the last four years the Tory Metro Mayor has been invisible with a survey showing he is the least well known in the UK.

Labour’s Dan Norris who is best placed to beat the Tories says its time for new leadership.

Voters are asked to wear a mask to the polling station and to remain socially distanced.
